The club was established in 1972 and has a long association with Badminton WA. We are primarily a Members club, but casual Visitors are welcome on a pay and play basis.

We are a social club providing badminton for a range of playing standards from intermediate to advanced levels. The system used to set up games ensures that there is good rotation throughout the night. It allows players to have competitive games according to their standard, and also encourages the less experienced to play with and learn from stronger players whilst avoiding massive skill level gaps.

The Club holds three to four annual tournaments for the Members. Our players regularly take part in tournaments organised by Badminton WA throughout the year. They also support the Pennant competitions organised by members of Badminton WA.

Wescoast Badminton Club is committed to promote and support the sport with Members actively involved in coaching, umpiring and assisting in National events. Outside of badminton, the Committee organises social events such as SupaGolf, 10 Pin bowling and the Annual Club Presentation / Dinner party.
